So Tina, I’m all excited about your book “Gabriel” and want to ask you a few questions.
To start off, tell me what the story is about.
When demons sunder ancient bonds, a love-match between a valiant archangel and a selfless nurse brings humanity’s last hope — but demon-taint may destroy them both. The prison the archangels have guarded, housed deep within the earth is destroyed, releasing Kematians (demons) to feed upon humanity. The angels are losing the battle again as the Kematians ability to regenerate hampers the angel’s ability to destroy them. Gabriel is stabbed by an Angel Killing Sword; he’s accepted his fate that he will die; only to be revived by Calla’s ability to heal. Calla Stevens, RN, tries to find who or what is killing the victims that are coming into the ER, only to be infected herself when she comes face-to-face with the Kematians. Calla has saved Gabriel once, is she’s willing to trade her life for his this time? Archangel Gabriel struggles with new emotions as he discovers Calla is his soul mate. He strives to defend humanity, with the assistance of his brother Archangel Michael and new human friends. Gabriel will have to choose whether he will live or die when his future with Calla is destroyed.
What was your inspiration?
*laughs* I wanted to write a book, I had the time to do it so I did. I need to invent a better story for this question. I wish I had a dream or something really cool to explain how GABRIEL came to be, but I don’t.
What do you hope readers will love about your story?
Great question. It’s a paranormal romance, but it has a lot of action too. I hope readers will love the characters as much as I do. It was a lot of fun telling their story.
If a movie were made, which actors would you pick for your characters?
I’ve avoided this question like the plague, but I’ll answer it for you. 🙂 For Gabriel, Christian Bale and Calla Reese Witherspoon.
If you could write another genre, which would you choose?
I’m going to give YA a shot this Spring. I’m not a big YA fan, but I have a teen who’s dying to read something I wrote. Since my paranormal romance stories have sex scenes she can’t read it.
What is your all-time favorite book, and why?
To Kill A Mockinbird. It was the first ‘big’ book I read in elementary. I was so proud of myself. And then we did an analysis so not only did I read it, but I understood it too.
Who was your hero as a child?
My grandpa. I called him pee-paw. He could do anything and he was bigger than life when I was a kid. His smile light up a room and he had the best sense of humor.
Who’s your biggest fan?
My husband and kids. If that ever changes then I’ll need to think about doing something else.
Thanks for having me! XOXO, tina
Thank YOU Tina, you’re an inspiration to all those striving to get their story out there.
