I loved the first book in D.C. Stone’s Empire Blue series (Intimate Danger) and loved the second book, too. It’s got all the ingredients I crave in a read – deadly intrigues, near-hopeless romance, and sizzling chemistry between sexy, headstrong characters. Oh, and the author being such a good writer, plunging me into the scenes and making me feel everything as if it were happening to me, naturally puts Intimate Fear on this reader’s best-book-of-the-year shelf 🙂
