Hi Lea! Hi Lea’s friends.
Coming to Lea’s is like meeting up with a kindred spirit. We’ve got a lot in common when it comes to a love of music, rock stars and books and it’s always a pleasure to get to spend the day here. Last time I visited, I brought the Sin Pointe Novel free read, Touch of Sin. I can’t believe it’s been five months since then! Time flies when you’re fantasizing about the boys in the band, right Lea? The book I’ve brought today is the fifth story in my rock star romance series. Wicked Flower is all about the band’s naughty lead singing bass player, Stefan Calderon. To celebrate its release as well as the series as a whole, I got the idea to share some of my favorite “Stefan Moments” from the books at each blog tour stop. Today’s comes from Book 2, Sin’s Flower. It’s always interesting when I get Jaxon and Stefan in the same room. Here, Jaxon sees nothing funny about sharing Lily with Stefan, but he quickly remembers why he and his bandmate are such good friends. Through thick and thin and really bad songs, as the saying goes. From Sin’s Flower…
Jaxon was busy thinking about how Stefan had just saved his butt again with the miraculous perfect timing of his showing up when Stefan managed to bring him back to the real world where nothing they ever did involving a girl could be considered good. “She’s cute. Spicy red heads are my specialty though.”
“She’s a no-no.”
“A no-no for me or for you?”
“Next,” Jaxon said with a knife sharp tone.
Stefan made a smacking sound. “Fine. So hey, I, uh. I wanted to make a suggestion.”
Stefan’s suggestions were always worth a listen especially when Jaxon needed a laugh. But his band mate and dear friend was all clenched up looking. Ah shit, he better not be here to get all “let me help you past that fucking night” again.
“What?” Jaxon asked through a squinted eye.
“Shit. I don’t want to say this, but the songs you’re bringing to rehearsals, man, they’re…”
“They’re bad.”
“Yeah dude, they’re pretty bad. That’s why the guys and I think you should take a break. Get out and see some different stuff. Find a new muse. Or…”
“Or?”
“Well, the rest of us agreed to step up to the plate. Will scribbled out a few workable lyrics the other night. I think he’s still pretty haunted by Honey but it could make for a good song or two. I mean shit, I could even give it a try. Girls like songs about sex.” Stefan’s gaze drifted off to someplace else.
And here is the Wicked Flower blurb:
Sin Pointe front man Stefan Calderon is playing a very dangerous game and his mom’s live-in caretaker, Dani Foster, just landed right smack in the middle of it.
Practically strangers when Stefan rolls into his small hometown looking to patch things up with Mom, his and Dani’s worlds collide with a hot and intense hook up. He knows right away this woman will make the perfect partner for his two weeks in town. But when she realizes whose son he is, and what he’s there to do, sexy times come to an abrupt halt.
That is until they come up with a solution. Rules. Every game needs them. The question isn’t if they’ll break them, but when and how hard.
It’s a wickedly delicious game, one neither of them intends to lose.
Thanks for letting me share with you today. If you’d like to spend more time with Stefan in his own book, you can find Wicked Flower at these lovely places:
