Who is Valerie Twombly?

Here is what Valerie had to say about her experience as a writer.

I started writing about a year ago. It’s now become an obsession. I work full-time and write in my spare time.

I love paranormal. I always had a fascination with vampires. Grew up watching Dark Shadows, the show scared the crap out of me, LOL.

I live in Northern IL with hubby and two beautiful German Shepherds. I’m an avid reader.

  • What inspired you to become an author?

The voices in my head lol, and my husband. His comment to me one day was. “You read so many books, why don’t you try writing your own?” I thought about it and figured what do I have to lose.

Interview with Valerie Twombly!

Another Coffee Talk author has published her work, and I’m really pleased to ask Valerie Twombly a few questions about the shorty “Demon Slayer”.

Tell me what your story is about.

The daughter of a goddess and a demon, who grows up to become a demon slayer.

What inspired you to write it?

It actually started as a weekly write up on my blog for Halloween, the characters sorta got away from me, lol.

What do you hope readers will love about it?

I hope they will love the chemistry between Tess and Crone, I know I do.

If a movie were made, which actors would you pick for your characters?

Oh, that’s a tough one. I guess I’ve never thought about it so I don’t really know.

Would you like to try writing another genre?

Oh, I might consider dipping my toe into erotica.

Which is your favorite book, the one you’ll always read again?

My all time favorite is Sherrilyn Kenyon’s, Acheron. It made me cry.

What kind of stories did you read as a child?

As a small child I was a fan of Dr. Seuss, then as I got older I started reading Dracula, or anything with dragons.

Last but not least, who’s your biggest fan?

I would have to say my husband, he is also my biggest supporter.
