A Tempest of Passion by Elyzabeth M. Valey

ATempestofPassion-evernightpublishing-JayAheer2015-Complete

Emily Bunsbury is most definitely not a fainter. She prefers to leave that sort of shenanigans to young debutants and to those desperate to land a husband. She is neither.

Except last night she passed out and was rescued by none other than the town’s most eligible bachelor: William Dalton.  Of course, she wants nothing to do with him, but her heart and body don’t seem to be in agreement…

Banished from his pack for a crime he did not commit, William Dalton does not have the desire or the time to court women, yet, when he meets Emily Bunsbury he is incapable of staying away. Certain that it is nothing more than a passing fancy and not the mating pull, he pursues her.

However, as the unknown threat that expelled him from his pack strikes again, William realizes that Emily means much more and he must keep her safe. Now, if only she’d agree to his terms…

As danger grows with each passing day, will the couple learn to trust each other or will their love be nothing more than a temporary tempest of passion?

Excerpt:

“Perhaps you can enlighten me. You’re an accomplished dancer as far as I can see and you seem to enjoy it, even if you did tell me you didn’t particularly like it. Why don’t the other men ask you to dance? Must I be on the lookout lest you do something outrageous?”

They reunited on the floor. Emily extended her right foot forward allowing her weight to rest on it before closing her other foot and hopping. She bit back a smile.

“I think most men in town surrendered in their pursuit for me to dance,” she admitted after a moment. “I refused all of them for what I spoke was the truth. I am not fond of dancing.”

“Yet, you’re not chewing on your lips or pulling them in as you have a habit of doing when carrying out unpleasant duties.” William chuckled.  “Just like that. Why always so serious, Ms. Bunsbury? Is my company such a heavy weight on your shoulders that you cannot gift me with a smile?”

“Life is serious business, Mr. Dalton,” she replied, going around him in a circle. “There is nothing more odious than being forced to smile.”

“Of course, I know it well.” His friendly smile vanished, his eyes losing their luster.

“I did not mean to upset you,” Emily hurried to clarify, suddenly desperate to see the gay light present in his eyes again.

William’s lips curled upwards, though the gesture did not reach his eyes.

“It was not your fault, Ms. Bunsbury. You inadvertently awoke some sad memories. Life is serious business,” he conceded, twirling her, “but that is precisely why we must enjoy the precious good moments such as these, for we never know how long they will last.”

“Your opinion of good moments is definitely low if you count this to be one.”

She was teasing him. By God, she was teasing him and though it took him a moment to realize it, she was glad at the sound of his rich laughter. Her lips twitched and she found herself smiling in response to his boisterous mirth.

“Of course I do,” he said after a few seconds. “I am dancing with a beautiful woman on a fine autumn day. It cannot get much better than that?” He winked, reminding her of his ulterior masculine motives and causing her cheerfulness to vanish. “Though you probably think differently,” William added.

“Indeed.”

The melody having come to an end, Emily curtsied and turned to walk away from William Dalton. She’d barely removed herself from the center of the room, when he gripped her elbow. Emily bit back a gasp. Every time he touched her something inside her awoke with a hunger that could not be appeased. Tilting her head back so she could look him in the eyes, she chose to ignore the way her heart leapt.

“That was only one dance, Ms. Bunsbury. You promised me two.”

“Surely, you wouldn’t want to waste your good moments dancing another tune with me, Mr. Dalton.” She made to leave but his fingers on her arm tightened. Anger flared in his eyes and his good-natured smile vanished.

“You think little of yourself, Ms. Bunsbury. I am surprised.”

“You are in the wrong, Sir,” she said as politely as she could muster. “I simply believe that another woman would enjoy your attentions much more than myself.”

Pulling her arm from his grasp, she veered around, desperate for some fresh air. Faster than she could muster, he stepped in front of her, blocking her path. Curling her hands into fists, she fought against the urge to shove him out of the way.

“Mr. Dalton—!”

“Ms. Bunsbury.”

Emily’s eyes flew to his face at the warning in his tone, her wroth vanishing and scattering into the wind as their gazes clashed.

“I don’t take kindly to broken promises,” he whispered gruffly.

Her breath caught as he reached for her hand, his fingertips sliding sensually over her gloved wrist. Her pulse raced, urging her to move or succumb to the persistent throbbing between her legs.

“You may think yourself fast as a rabbit or cunning like a fox, Ms. Bunsbury, but I am a hunter and catching prey is my favorite sport.”

INTERVIEW OF MAIN CHARACTER AMANDUS:

Hi Amandus, nice to have you on my blog! Here are a few questions to familiarize you with our readers. So, to start off, when were you born? Long before the world as you know it existed.

Do you have any scars, tattoos, piercings? What do they mean to you? Yes, I have a tattoo. It begins over my heart and curls down to my hip. The design is a family symbol. All the Arcánús have it, though each curls in a different way indicating their rank in the order of things.

Do you have any siblings? Yes, I do. We are twelve brothers in total. Known as the Arcánús, we are Cupid’s children and we are entrusted with the mission of helping the God bestow love upon others as well as protect him and all that is dear to him, as is love.

What is your current title/rank? As first born of Cupid I am the Captain of his guard and leader of the Arcánús. Our job is to aid Cupid in sending his arrows.

What is your biggest responsibility? Currently, I am responsible for and committed to Hailey. I am responsible for watching her, protecting her, and ensuring that her powers never get out of hand. I am also committed to loving her, cherishing her, caring for her, and ensuring that she live forever happy.

Who is your biggest rival/enemy? *Amandus grins. His violet eyes light up playfully.*

My greatest enemy is Ariadne the witch. She is the most dangerous charmer you can imagine. Centuries old, she is no hag. Her eyes are as clear as a summer sky. Her hair golden as Cupid’s throne.  One look from her will cause you to tremble. One word from her sweet lips and you will wish for nothing more than to sink to your knees and love her until death claims you.

How did the two of you meet? *Amandus grins* Do you mean Ariadne, my greatest enemy or Hailey my greatest love? *he laughs* I’ll tell you how I met both. I met Ariadne on the battlefield and Hailey in her living room when she summoned me with the Arcanus Amator spell.

ariadne and amandus defy

Excerpt:

She frowned. “What the hell’s happened?” She was quite sure this was not how the spell worked. Granted, she hadn’t exactly read the entire information sheet on the website.

“No one does,” she whined, bouncing on the balls of her feet while staring at the flickering flame of the candle. The thing was more than 20 pages long. It was like reading one of those software agreements. No one read the damn thing. She’d read the instructions and the first page with all the warnings and that was more than enough. Taking a deep breath, she managed to settle her nerves a little. Everyone thought she was the ditsy blonde obsessed with the occult, but she wasn’t. She was a hard worker, impatient when things didn’t go as expected. It was partially the reason why she’d filed through so many relationships. Why stay with a guy when he clearly had nothing to offer? Some of her friends argued that she didn’t give them a chance. She begged to differ. She’d given them a chance, they just hadn’t taken it.

True, her impatience sometimes got her into some trouble but it also saved her from a lot of it. That, however, wasn’t the case now. Annoyed that the spell had gone awry, she brushed back her bangs impatiently. Whatever had happened was not important. The priority was getting Hannah back home. Scanning the room for her discarded laptop, she did a double take.

Obstructing the exit to the living room stood the most gorgeous man she had laid eyes on. He was massive. His head almost brushed the top of the doorframe. His heavily muscled arms were crossed in front of him, his chest bare except for the intricate design of a red-inked tattoo that started around his left nipple and descended across his side to his hip. Low on his hips, he wore a long black skirt made out of what looked like leather.

Hailey hesitated a moment before finally glancing fully at his face. Her breath stilled as their eyes locked. A clear shade of violet, they were not from this world. Swallowing, she took a step backwards without breaking her stare. The stranger’s eyes glittered with curiosity and amusement.

“Careful with the center of the star,” he warned.
Hailey stumbled and froze. His voice was deep and commanding and had a familiar ring to it that sent her senses reeling. Shaking her head slightly, she continued moving away from him.

“Watch—”

Breath exploded from her lungs as she crashed into a shelf, a few ornaments she and Hannah kept, crashing to the floor.

“—out. Are you all right?”

Hailey winced, the back of the shelf digging into her skin, but she nodded anyway. The stranger flashed her a grin that made her knees weak. Hailey swallowed. The urge to see him smile again clawed at her insides like a desperate hunger.

Ignoring her, he glanced down at the pentagram, his silky dark curls framing his strong jaw and straight nose.

“You don’t look like you knew what you were getting into.”

Hailey held on to the bookcase behind her. She was afraid that if she moved the whole thing would topple over her head and she’d wake up, realizing that the man in the center of the room was nothing more than a dream.

“Read the first page of the instructions and didn’t bother to read the rest, huh?”

His eyes lifted to hers with a sassy smirk that lit up his violet eyes. Hailey stared speechless, the urge to touch the man making her palms itch as if she’d stepped into poison ivy.

“Yeah, you never did care what you got into, Ariadne.”

Goose bumps sprouted over her flesh and she released the shelf, rubbing her arms in an attempt to warm her suddenly chilled skin. Ariadne. The name rang in her ears like a long forgotten memory always running at the edge of her vision, just a breadth away from her grasp.

“I—”

No words came out as he carefully watched her face, almost as if saving every detail of her features into his memory. Her mouth felt parched, her tongue too large, as she searched for words that wouldn’t come.

“Yes?”

Butterflies danced in the pit of her stomach and her chest tightened, making it difficult to breathe. Fear mingled with a strange sense of joy. Names, places, and moments in time danced in the edge of her vision, taunting her to remember them, taunting her to say them aloud but fleeing before she could take hold of them.

“My name isn’t…”

The man raised his dark eyebrows, the shadow of a smile lifting the edge of his full lips.

“I know.”

“Oh.”

Confidential interview with The Perfect Shoot heroine

Author Elyzabeth M. Valey interviews Andrea, aka. Cindy Vega, from new release The Perfect Shoot!

Elyzabeth: Morning my lovelies! Today I’ve got quite a treat for you (pun intended *grin*) Lea Bronsen has come in with her lead character, Cindy, from The Perfect Shoot (Hot Model Mine) and I’ve interviewed the latter.  Please give them a warm welcome!

Welcome Andrea or should I say, Cindy? Can you tell us a bit about your writing?

Cindy: Hi Elyzabeth! First off, thanks for having me here. I’m not used to being in the spotlight, but I’ll answer your questions the best I can. So, my writing. I’m an erotic romance writer, but you know how it is – some say it’s too sweet and romantic to be labelled erotic, and some say it’s too pornographic to be romance. *shakes head*

He wandered through the woods. Head bowed down, nose close to the forest floor, scavenging for food. Then, he heard it. He froze. His heart skipped, then tightened in his chest before resuming its tempo at a speed that left him dizzy. Ears perked, he started ambling through the forest in the sound’s direction. He stopped. There it was again. Laughter. Loud, boisterous, so unladylike it warmed him from head to toe. He’d recognize that laughter anywhere, even if it had been more than a hundred years since he’d heard it.

Lifting his head, he sniffed the air. Rain washed dirt, blooming flowers, and people. His nose wrinkled slightly. He dropped his head. She was not among them. His heart slowed, beating like a sorrowful lament. She was not among them. How could she be? She was dead. He knew that. Yet—the sound of the woman’s laughter reached him again. A tingling sensation spread from his heart to his groin. Unable to resist, he headed in the direction of the sound, curious to see for himself the girl who had his late fiancées laughter but not her scent. He knew he shouldn’t be coming this way. There was a home nearby. He recalled seeing it when he first came to live in this area and vowed to stay away from it, but Evelyn’s memory kept him moving.

Evelyn. Dear Evelyn. Deep down in his heart, he knew it could not be her. She was dead. Killed by his own selfishness and stupidity. Killed by his desire for revenge. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. How many times over the years had he cursed himself for his lack of foresight? For his impulsive nature? He’d lost count. Evelyn was dead, and he was a bear during the day and a man after sunset.

He sighed. The loud sound resembled a growl and seemed to echo in the woods around him. Oblivious to his presence, the humans laughed and squealed, clearly enjoying themselves. Simon picked up his speed. Their scents wrapped around him as he got closer. Delicious. Enticing. Crashing through the thicket, he stopped, seeing them for the first time. Quickly, he hid, certain that if they saw him, they’d flee.

There were two women laughing and running about near the stream. How they could even move was beyond him for they wore long dresses tapered at their tiny waists and flowing full of ruffles to their ankles. They wore no hats, the offending garments discarded near a tree. He cocked his head, amused at the spectacle. Clearly, these were women enjoying themselves regardless of societal dictatorship. Their cheeks were glowing pink and healthy and water dripped from their hair.

The youngest girl looked to be 15 or 16. She had long black hair and a mischievous attitude that reminded him of a playful cat. He focused his gaze on the other woman. His breath whooshed out of his lungs. She was beautiful. Strawberry blonde hair trailed down her back and freckles dusted her arms. She laughed as the younger woman splashed water on her. Simon’s heart constricted. That laughter. The woman looked nothing like his deceased Evelyn, but she had her laughter. It was a sound full of unabashed spirit. Unable to stop himself he moved a little closer. He craved to hear her speak. How much time had passed since he’d spoken to another human being? How much time had passed since he’d been with a woman? The redhead was deliciously curvy and her wet summer dress did little to hide the fact. He closed his eyes and let out a slow breath. Lust like he had not experienced in ages awakened inside of him and a bear-like sound burst from his lips.

Damn.

He stopped in his tracks and glanced at the women. They were no longer smiling. The smell of fear reached him. They hadn’t seen him yet or they would have run. He knew that. He’d lived it before. People always panicked at the sight of a bear. Besides, it was unlikely the women were alone. He scrambled backwards, eager to get away. There had to be others with them. Others that would hunt him and try to kill him. Strangely, the idea of dying at the hands of others did not appeal to him. At least not today.

“Wait.”

“Oh.”

He grasped her waist with a hand, steadying her and licked the anal whorl again. She moaned and thrust back against him. With his other hand Simon reached between her legs. He groaned. She was hot and wet. Margaret spread her legs as he touched her vulva, further spreading the liquid coating her. He tickled her entrance, teasing it with the tip of his index finger. Margaret moaned. She rocked her body, searching for his elusive touch. He pushed the digit into her depths.

“Simon.”

He inserted another finger and rotated them; searching for that spot he once knew to drive women wild. She moved against him and he realized that his hold on her hip was almost punishing. He loosened his fingers and dove into the crack of her bottom, licking and tasting it with ravenous hunger. Maggie cried out, no doubt not expecting the sudden assault. He pushed another finger into her, pumping them in and out hard and fast. She muttered his name, desperately moving against him and searching for release.

Simon pulled back. He removed his fingers from her core and took them into his mouth. His taste buds exploded with her tangy yet sweet flavor. Harshly, he spun her around. He glanced up at her. Her chest heaved, her heavy breasts moving with each breath. The rosy nipples extended and beckoning him to suck on them. At the same time, her pussy called to him. It’s musky scent permeating the air.

“I want to eat you, Maggie. Put you on a silver platter and feast on you, all of you, from top to bottom,” he said, his voice coming out husky.

Margaret held out her hand. Simon took it and she tugged. He got to his feet, and looked down at her, confused. Her inquisitive hands, so small compared to his, reached beneath his shirt, tugging. He aided her efforts and slipped the offending garment over his head glad that he did not possess a cravat, a vest, or any other item that would keep her hands from touching him. She stepped closer to him and rested her lips on his chest. He heard her inhale, as if she too was committing his scent to memory.

A soft sigh escaped her lips before she moved, dropping tiny kisses across his flesh. He growled as her teeth found his nipple and bit it. Margaret chuckled and repeated the process, lavishing the hurt with the flat of her tongue and making him wonder who was feasting on who. Lower and lower she dropped, following the trail of hair that curled to his cock. His breath caught as she stopped at the hem of his trousers and glanced up at him. Darkened by passion her eyes resembled a pine tree wet after a furious storm. A devious smile lighted her face as she easily unfastened his clothes and drew his cock out from within. Her warm breath caressed his throbbing member as she silently grasped it.

“Margaret.”

“You’re not the only one that’s hungry, Simon.”

The Three Thieves and the Dom by Elyzabeth M. Valey

Greetings, everyone! Today I have the pleasure of being here with the four main characters of my novel, The Three Thieves and The Dom, book 3 of The Witches’ Mischief Series.

ttaad3

Please, allow me to introduce you to, Conall Dougal, Penelope Blackemoor, Isidora Quinn and Grace Tesh.

The group smiles and nods. Conall sits in the center of the couch, Penelope to his right and Isidora to his left. On the floor, at his feet sits Grace. Both women on the couch have an arm looped around Conall. Grace, dressed in a cream colored gown, sits close to Conall’s leg. He touches her head for an instant and I can’t help but notice the way her face lights up.

His piercing grey eyes find man and though he doesn’t speak a word I can tell he wants me to start the interview and stop staring at them.

Elyzabeth: Thank you for taking a moment to be here with us. Can you please tell the readers what is the best memory you have of the adventure you’ve just lived through?

Grace and Isidora immediately start giggling. Penelope on the other hand furrows her brow in concentration. A wolfish grin spreads across Conall’s face.

Elyzabeth: Are you all thinking about sex?

Conall joins the girl’s laughter as they nod, enthusiastically.

I: How can we not? His tactic to discover the truth from us was by seducing us.

G: Not a hard feat at all, to be honest. We were already in love with him and *she tilts her head toward Conall and feigns covering her mouth* have you looked at him?

C: Grace.

There is clearly a playful warning in his tone as the blonde blushes and scoots closer to his leg.

P: I was not thinking about the sex.

Even though her voice is incredibly soft, we immediately turn our attention to her. She sits with her back straight and her hands neatly folded on her lap.

Elyzabeth: What were you thinking about Penelope?

P: I was thinking back to when Conall found me. He had entered my bedroom uninvited and I had demanded he leave immediately. Of course, he didn’t. *She smiles softly and cocks her head to the side, surreptitiously glancing at Conall from beneath her lashes* He told me he wasn’t going to go anywhere. He didn’t shout or speak forcefully. I remember looking at him and seeing the vulnerability. He was baring himself to him in a way that until that moment he’d never done before.

I can’t help grinning as Conall reaches out to cradle her cheek. She closes her eyes and he presses his mouth to hers. The kiss is brief but the smile on both their faces is one of serenity and sheer happiness.

Elyzabeth: What can you tell us about the witches?

C: I would not have recovered my heart had they not stumbled upon my path. I am eternally grateful for their help.

Conall pets Grace, then takes Isidora and Penelope’s hands and squeezes.

P: We are all grateful to them. Their first approach was a bit unorthodox. *she smiles* but, it rattled us.

Elyzabeth: I’d ask you about how you came up with your brilliant plan, Penelope, but I think the readers might prefer to actually read about. So,  instead, and since you brought it up earlier, I’ll ask: favorite sex moment?

I: When Conall took me over his knee and spanked me.

She laughs a little breathlessly, her black curls bouncing slightly as she shifts in her seat.

G: When he caught up with me at the warehouse. We didn’t get far but his presence, his touch, I’d missed it so badly and then there he was, doing things to me.

P: I love taking him in my mouth. He thinks he’s in control but — *she bursts out laughing at Conall’s shocked expression*

Elyzabeth: How about you Conall?

C: All of them.

The girls start to protest but he quickly quiets them by lifting his hand.

All of them. I can’t pick only one. Every moment with them is a gift, every second spent by their side, touching them, kissing them, making love to them, simply sitting at their side, is a favorite in my book.

There’s a flurry of skirts and hair as the girls move to take turns kissing Conall. When they finally quiet back down, he’s grinning mischievously.

Then again, I do love spanking them, cropping them, giving them a little ginger root…

Elyzabeth: Okay, that’s enough. Thank you all for coming and thank you readers for reading. I hope you enjoy the love story of these four sex-crazed fiends. Until next time!

Excerpt:

“Do you remember our first time together, little angel?”

“Yes, Master Conall.”

“Were you frightened then?”

She shook her head. “No sir, I was excited.”

Conall leaned into her, brushing his lips against her neck and causing goose bumps to rise on her flesh. “I was too.” He breathed in deeply, as if committing her fragrance to memory. His tongue swirled around the outer shell of her ear and she arched her body into his.

“So responsive, always so responsive. I want to fuck you, Gracie. Hard and fast because I want to punish your pussy for leaving me bereft.”

Grace moaned. The loud sound echoed in her ears. Panicked, she pushed him, desperate to escape from the clutches he had on her heart and soul. With ease, Conall captured her hands in his, binding her with his strength. Grace panted.  Liquid coated her pussy as her gaze found his.

“You want it too,” he said. “Are you wet?”

Grace swallowed. She couldn’t lie to him, but she could choose not to answer.

Conall smirked. “I know you are, angel.” Slowly, he lowered her hands and pressed them against his groin. Instinctively, she curled her fingers around his hard length. Conall groaned. “You want this as bad as I do.”

“No. I can’t.” Grace forced her hands away from his erection. A growl-like sound burst through his lips, catching her off guard. Grace yelped as he pulled her hair, sharply drawing her head back.

“Cannot or will not?” His passion-filled gaze flitted over her face for an instant. “Never mind,” he snarled. His lips slammed against hers in a punishing kiss that took the air from her lungs. He kept his hand on her hair so that she couldn’t move, controlling their kiss. She could only comply to his sensual touch, and that was all she wanted to do. His kiss deepened, his tongue seeking out hers in hard, angry swipes full of longing and unspent desire. Grace moaned loudly, as with his other hand he found her breast and roughly massaged it through her clothes. Abruptly, he pulled back.

“Angel, little angel of my heart. Will you not tell me why you left?”

“No.”

Conall’s face transformed. His grin turned feral as his eyes narrowed, a fiendish spark in their depths.

“Then I will draw it out of you. I will kiss, lick, and make you scream out the truth.”

He punctuated each word by running his fingers across her chest and causing shiver after shiver to rack her form. Wetness slid between her thighs and her breasts ached for his touch. She had to get away from him. Unlike Isidora or Penelope, Grace knew that she was the weakest of them. She was like a house made of straw, one that could be thrown down by the wind in a jiffy. She could not allow it. She had promised Penelope to keep her secret, and she would.

Conall’s hand dipped lower, finding her nipple and pinching the hardened nub.

“Would you look at that? It’s already eager for my touch.”

Somehow, he managed to pull out her breast. Grace watched paralyzed as he leaned into her. His lips formed an O around the wrinkled flesh. His tongue swiped over it and her body arched automatically, her hands clutching onto his shoulder for support. His mouth closed hard over her nipple, his teeth grazing the sensitive skin, and she screamed. Conall’s hands grasped her bottom, drawing her into him as he fervently sucked on her breast.

“Do you feel it? My hard cock pressed against you? Waiting for your hot pussy to wrap around it like the glove you wear over your hand. My little angel, you always enjoyed serving me. Whatever I asked, you did without question and always with utter pleasure. Will you do so now?” He pulled out her other breast, twisting the nipple between thumb and forefinger.

“Master Conall, please.”

“Tell me, Grace.” He pinched harder. Tears gathered at the back of her eyes as pain collided with pleasure and the desire to tell him all.

“I cannot.”

“Yes, you can.”

She was unable to stop him as he hitched her skirts to her waist and found her wet folds.

“Oh God, Grace.” His voice broke, and for the first time ever she realized how affected he was by the situation.  “I want to fuck you, Grace. I want to stick my hard rod up your warm, wet pussy. I want to taste you, love. I want to hear you scream my name as you fall from heaven.” He pushed two fingers deep into her. Grace’s legs trembled.

“Tell me,” he urged, pumping them in and out of her.

“I cannot, I don’t—”

“Yes?” A third finger wound its way inside of her and she threw her head back, giving in to the rising pleasure.

They froze at the sound of a loud knock at the door.
