Hi Lea! Thanks for letting me visit and share a little about my newest release! Razor was released Feb 6th by Decadent Publishing. It’s my first urban fantasy and I’m very excited. It’s part of Decadent Publishing’s Beyond Fairytales collection and is a retelling of The Little Folk from Brother’s Grimm. Yeah, I’d never heard of it either. LOL. I hope everyone enjoys Razor as much as I did.

Excerpt from Razor.

Micah made the landing and stood watching James ascend. A few seconds later, he reached the top and looked around. They found themselves outside a door almost as dark as the night, set into a wall of Cimmerian brick that disappeared into the gloom on either side. The doorman standing beside it was equally striking. He stood taller than James’s six feet, and wore only a black leather kilt and heavy boots that seemed to consume the lower part of his muscular legs. No one would dare challenge the man. His torso rippled in ways James had never seen before. His face was rugged, covered with a few days’ scruff trimmed precisely along his jawline. Before he could think of what they should do, the doorman spoke.

“Welcome to Razor. What’s your pleasure tonight?”

James stood speechless as the deep bass of the man’s voice resonated through the night. “The music. The music is wonderful. We caught it from a few blocks off and wanted to hear more.”

A smile emerged on the man’s face and changed him from executioner to guardian. “Of course, the music. You’ve found the right place. Just in time, too. Tonight is drawing to a close.”

He grasped the bronze door pull that was easily as long and thick as James’s forearm and opened the massive door with little apparent effort. He motioned them into the portal with a wave. “Go. Enjoy yourself.”

The pair moved toward the opening and peered inside. The room was dim, except for an empty stage bathed in warm light. James noticed the musical trio creating the instrumentals that had lured them through the foggy night. They glanced back to the grinning bouncer who encouraged them forward with a nod.

They stepped into the room and paused to take it in. From the elaborately carved dark mahogany bar lined with every imaginable type of liqueur, to the lovingly worn floor that had seen thousands of pairs of feet during its existence, it was all club. The couple moved inside as the door closed behind them with scarcely a whisper.

As they studied the room, two things struck James. First, they were the only customers. Second, everyone else in the room wore very little and were male. Their smiling waiter stepped to their table. James swallowed hard as he looked at the man standing before him. He dressed in the same boots as the bouncer, which were buckled to just below his knees. The remainder of the waiter’s clothing consisted of a black leather jockstrap filled to capacity.

Black Hills Desperado by D. L. Jackson

Bad Girls of the Wild West.

Black Hills Desperado2_300x450

In celebration of my upcoming book, Black Hills Desperado, where my heroine is a bank robber,  I’m going to talk about famous female outlaws.

  1. The Rose of Cimarron: Rose Dunn, a Wild West Bonnie Parker had a thing for bad boys and adrenaline rushes. Not only did she date an outlaw, she was one, joining a gang and robbing coaches, banks. She died in 1950s, in her 80’s, long lived for a woman who worked on the wrong side of a gun.
  2. Cattle Kate: In battles over open range with the Wyoming Cattlemen’s society, Ellen Liddy Watson and her lover, James Averell, met their fates together at the ends of a lynch mob’s ropes. Accused of cattle-rustling, Kate became the first woman to be hung in Wyoming’s history. She was never violent or charged with a crime, but inevitably made her place in history books as an outlaw.
  3. Lillian Smith: Annie Oakley’s rival would do anything to steal the show. Cold, ruthless, Lillian pulled no punches and shot better than most men could walk. A Wild West diva of epic proportions, Lillian dressed in a non-conservative manner, cursed with the best of them and began her career as a sideshow trick-shooter at the age of fifteen. She never did replace Annie, but she sure gave her a run for her money.
  4. Pearl de Vere: The Soiled Dove of Cripple Creek was a business woman foremost, driving hard bargains and running one of the most infamous brothels in the Wild West. A red-headed knockout, Pearl was most famous for being the first madam to have high-dollar call girls. No pictures exist of her, but legend has it she was one of the most beautiful women in the West.
  5. Pearl Hart: Canadian born, Pearl migrated to the United States with her new gambler husband at the tender age of 17. However there was nothing tender about her. When her husband ran off and joined the Spanish-American war, Pearl met Joe Boot and began her life of crime, robbing stage coaches. She is best known for her quote, when awaiting trial for her crimes, “I shall not consent to be tried under a law in which my sex had no voice in making.” She eventually was released and vanished. What became of her remains a mystery to this day.
  6. Etta Place: School teacher turned bad girl, Etta is best known at Butch Cassidy’s girlfriend. Not only did she ride along with his gang, she helped him to rob banks. She was not with the Cassidy gang when they were killed in South America, and not much is known about what happened to her after that. She simply disappeared.
  7. Josephine Sarah Marcus: The other woman. Josephine stole Wyatt Earp’s heart and ultimately destroyed his and her own to Sheriff John Behan. It was rumored this beauty triggered the infamous OK Corral gun fight. Josephine claimed to her dying breath, Wyatt was her one and only true love.
  8. Calamity Jane: Martha Jane Canary, better known as the heroine Calamity Jane, saved six passengers on a stagecoach and a captain in South Dakota, where she received her nick-name. This whiskey drinking darling had no problem holding her own with the men in Wild Bill’s Wild West Show. She died in 1903 and asked to be buried next to Wild Bill. It was rumored, even though she was married to another man, Bill Cody was the only man she’d ever loved.
  9. Charley Parkhurst: Famous lesbian? Nobody really knows. This young lady lived her entire adult life as a man, driving a stage coach in the Wild West. In fact, her true sex wasn’t known until her death, much to the surprise of all her friends. It is rumored, she is the first American woman to cast a ballot as a registered voter in an election. This woman defied social standards of the day and lived her life as she wanted.
  10. Belle Starr: Myra Maybelle Shirley Reed, hid by Frank and Jessie James as a child, this true blue female outlaw ran with a gang, robbed banks and counterfeited currency. She ultimately met her end on the wrong side of a gun. It isn’t clear to this day, if her death was an accident or murder.
  11. Annie Oakley: Perhaps the most memorable woman of The Wild West, Phoebe Ann Oakley Moses wasn’t an outlaw or a bad girl by any standard, but boy could she shoot. Annie’s name is synonymous with the Wild West. Annie Oakley could shoot better than almost any man who picked up a rifle. Not only an American legend, Annie was modest in dress and faithful to a fault. This crack shot lived her life by her rules and a place in Wild West history. She died penniless in 1926. It was discovered shortly thereafter, her entire fortune had been given to charities to support women’s rights and help needy children.

So, if you’d like to read about a modern day bad girl, pick up your copy of the Black Hills Wolves story, Black Hills Desperado. It’s available for preorder now and releases on January 23rd.

The Love Commission by Vicki Ballante

The-Love-Commission300x450

Blurb:

Gelsey is a savannah sprite—a fairy in Africa who works to preserve the earth. She’s a pro at eco-balance, but when the fairy queen gives her a commission to become a human to learn the meaning of love, she’s miserable. She has to give it her best as it’s the only way to get her dream job—to save the African Wild Cat.

After a short time in her new life, Gelsey is swept into the world of Evan’s love. Now, she must make an impossible choice—give up her life with the man who owns her heart or lose her fairyhood forever.

Excerpt :

When Evan took her home, she gladly walked toward her door. She took out her keys, but he held her by her waist, stopping her.

“What’s wrong, Evan?”

He didn’t speak. Instead, his gaze focused on her mouth. Was he waiting for her to say something?

“Oh, thank you so much for the meal. I love seafood.”

He smiled but his face drew closer to hers. Heat sprinkled over her at his closeness. He was about to kiss her. She’d seen a human kiss once while saving a domestic cat from being killed by a neighboring dog. The couple had stood by the front door, just like Evan and she were, and their mouths had connected for a long time, like the touch of an insect on a pond, suspended, causing little ripples. She’d walked away, almost disgusted with their strange behavior.

Somehow, everything seemed different. Something rose up within her—a hunger for his skin to touch hers. When his mouth rested on hers, tingles and warmth flooded her body. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders, pulling him closer. Their lips seemed to dance together with unplanned movements, each one a drum beat stirring up something powerful in her body and soul. Here was a magic she’d never known. Had any fairy experienced this before? Did they know what kissing felt like?

Much to her disappointment, he pulled away but placed his palm on her cheek. “I’ll see you tomorrow, my love.” His nose touched hers, and she tried to kiss him again, but he pulled away.

“Kissing can wait.” His eyes held a tease.

He drove away, leaving her standing by her front door. For a minute she felt lost, unable to remember what to do next. Then she laughed at herself. Fumbling with the key, she went inside and lay down on her bed.

Strange dreams punctuated her sleep—visions of flying up a mountain, something she’d never done. She swam in the sea like a sea fairy and had a stomach swollen with human child. The last one made her jump up with a start. What if she did become pregnant? The queen or Ziana hadn’t mentioned the possibility. All Ziana had said was she should take a special pill from the start of her time in the human world. The pill would stop her from having a baby, just as the humans were in a habit of doing. Ziana obviously knew she would never fall pregnant if she took the medicine. At least she was safe from bearing a human child. If she bore a child, she would be stuck as a human much longer, if not forever.

Ziana had also told her to study sex. She’d read some articles on the Internet and watched a few videos, but they’d horrified her so much she hadn’t spent much time on them.

Kissing was fine but Evan would expect more. Sweat trickled down her temples. She rose and walked to the bathroom to wash her face.

Being a human, she shouldn’t be afraid of sex. It was a natural process of human reproduction. The act just seemed so bizarre. The animal mating habits were straightforward. Maybe the cats could get a little noisy, but there weren’t all these different techniques and ways to do things to make it more pleasurable. Why should it be pleasurable? It was done to make children.

Herein lay the whole question behind her commission. She’d become the guinea pig. The experiment.

Tears came to her eyes. Did the queen know how much this would hurt? How confused she would feel? Afraid and lost? No fairy would ever understand. Neither would a human. She was totally alone. Gripping her arms around her abdomen, she stared at her reflection in the bathroom mirror. Her hair stood up on one side, flat on the other. Her eyes appeared like two murky pools full of algae and filth. Even her cheeks appeared more hollow than usual. Ugh, she looked awful! Loneliness had never featured in her world. She’d been too busy and there’d always been winged friends around to talk to, to laugh and sing with.

The emotion felt like a cold, heavy blanket resting upon her, seeping its icy tendrils right down to her bones. She went back to bed but couldn’t sleep for hours. Eventually, she fell into a fitful sleep.

Character Interview: Frosty Relations (A Witch’s Night Out, 2) by Tara Quan

TQ_FrostyRelations_Cover

Hi Mina, and thanks for joining us today. A birdie tells me you’re the lady to contact if we’ve got questions about Jackson Frost the Third, is that correct?

Well, I do work in the same law firm as Jack, yes. He’s an attorney though, and I’m just an HR assistant. But my dad also works for his father, so we spent a lot of time together as children.

But he’s a lot older than you, isn’t he?

He’s twenty-seven to my twenty-one, so only six years older. It doesn’t stop him from treating me like a baby sister.

If you were to describe Jack to a stranger, what would you tell them?

Umm…. This is a bit of a geeky reference, but I’d say he’s a grown up version of Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter.

Isn’t Draco the platinum blond bully who’s also a rich brat?

That about sums up Jack. But he’s a nice guy…. You just have to dig really deep down.

Does he have a distinctive personal scent?

Having emptied out his trash growing up, I can tell you he wears Thierry Mugler’s Angel pretty much exclusively. He also always smells a little bit like snow.

You said you lived near him as a child…

Yes. My dad is his father’s familiar… I mean … groundskeeper. My family lives in the caretaker’s house on the Frost estate. I moved out when I left for college, but my parents and brother are still there.

Ah, I’ve got that in my notes right here. The estate is just outside D.C. Do you live in the capital now?

Uh huh. As you know, the economy isn’t great for a new college graduate, so I had to get a job at Frost and Sons. I live in a studio apartment in an up-and-coming neighborhood in South D.C.

Isn’t that a sketchy area?

A little. But it’s improving every day.

And where does Jack live?

I believe he owns a condo in Georgetown.

So what’s it like working with Jack?

He’s … well … I’d say he’s an HR department’s worst nightmare. He pretty much says everything that pops in his head, most of which isn’t very politically correct, and there’s not much we can do about it since his father is the managing partner. Jack’s also a bit of a workaholic, and he doesn’t believing in taking or giving time off for the holidays.

Not even Christmas?

Especially not Christmas.

Well, that must put you in a difficult position.

I’ve gotten pretty good at handling him, but we still argue at least once a day.

I see. What’s his life like outside of work? Does he have any close friends?

His best friend is another attorney, Leo Difuoco. They used to hang out all the time, but Leo’s got a girlfriend now, so Jack’s feeling a bit abandoned.

That sucks. Does he have any plans for Christmas Eve?

Aside from driving me crazy? I don’t think so. I did hear him mutter something about a dating service though.

Okay, it seems like you’ve goat a busy day ahead of you. I’ll let you run off. Merry Christmas!

Excerpt:

Yawning, he settled more comfortably into the seat and embraced the lulling haze. His mind wandered to the day Mina had showed up for an interview. In a departure from her current fashion slump, she’d worn a short skirt suit and glossy-black high-heeled pumps. On her way out, she’d swung by his office to drop off his major weakness—Shanghai White Rabbit Creamy Candy. He’d given her a high five and wished her luck.

That day, she’d stayed for no more than a few minutes and had left the door open. But in this foggy, slumbering vision somewhere between the dreams he could never recall and actual memory, he reached over her shoulder to shut it.

~

A mischievous grin on her face, she tilted her head back and met his gaze. “What do you want, Jack?”

He lifted his index finger and placed it over his lips. “Shh….”

Sashaying past him with feline grace, she shrugged off her jacket to reveal a crimson silk blouse. After draping the discarded garment over an office chair, she turned to face his desk. Placing her palms on the suddenly clutter-free glass, she threw him a sideways glance and motioned him over with her head.

The warmth of balmy fall allowed her to show off those smooth, toned legs. The tailored dark-green cotton hugged her ass’s subtle curve, the back slit giving him glimpses of her creamy thighs.

Coming up behind her, he closed one palm over her mouth. She remained still, her small body trembling as he nibbled her neck. He grazed his teeth over the slender slope, pausing to suck a bright-red hickey onto her snowy skin.

Hearing a muffled moan, he clamped his fingers tighter as he slid his other hand under her skirt. Finding damp heat, he yanked down her panties. The scarlet lace fell to circle her four-inch heels.

Biting her earlobe, he whispered, “Stay quiet, or everyone will know I’m fucking you.”

With one hand, he unbuckled his belt and freed his erection, his other arm still holding her in silent captivity. He kicked her legs apart and hiked up her skirt. Sliding his length between the creamy cheeks, he probed her wet opening with the tip of his cock.

~

A loud feline hiss jerked him out of the dream. Sharp claws dug into his thighs as the chair rolled back and hit the wall. The cat scampered off his lap. Rubbing his eyes, he tried to remember where he was. Once his mind regained focus, he glanced down at his crotch and noticed the very visible bulge. He could see why she’d reacted in a rather extreme fashion.

With a soft popping sound, the woman whose bare butt he’d envisioned appeared in front of him, her snowflake earrings swaying against the sides of her rosy face. At least she’d lost the Santa hat. “What the heck were you thinking about?”

The most honest answer would give her the wrong idea. After all, he wasn’t attracted to her. He’d happened to be envisioning office sex with someone who bore a remarkable resemblance to her, at the same time he got an erection, while she’d been on his lap—all unrelated events.

Though he asked for an experienced older woman, he receives not one, but two beautiful women, who offer a night of mind-blowing, sensual pleasure.

Can Madame Eve’s special brand of magic ease the pain and tear down the walls surrounding the hearts of three lonely people?

Note: No FF Interaction

Connie Hollingsway had just found the meat filling for her hero sandwich. As far as she was concerned, the man met all the requirements she’d requested from Madame Eve, and he sat in the exact location where she’d been informed he’d be. Connie cast a quick glance toward her best friend, Nicole Sullivan, and amended her thought to, our hero sandwich. After all, she’d planned the evening for Nikki, as she could use the diversion. Truth be told, so could Connie.

Bass from inane techno music reverberated off the wood-paneled walls of the Cougar Cave. The club buzzed with excitement, pulsating with the promise of sex and the certain knowledge that one-night stands were the main item on the snack menu.

Connie’s gaze slid back to the hottie sitting alone in a booth directly across from them. The guy, in a word, exuded perfection. Ascertaining his age proved difficult under the flashing strobe lights, since he sat underneath a neon sign for Budweiser that cast a reddish glow over his stunningly gorgeous face.

She’d asked for a ruggedly handsome male under thirty, and the hunk seemed to fit the bill. His milk chocolate-colored, tousled hair had an I-just-rolled-out-of-bed appearance. Sexy. Like most young guys, he had scruffy whiskers, but her keen eye observed the delectable cleft in his well-shaped chin. Three empty beer bottles and a half-full glass sat in front of him, and he waved to the waiter for more.

A sly smile curved her mouth. She’d been told, via e-mail from Madame Eve, that the “man under the Budweiser sign” would be game for a one-night stand with an older woman. Drunk enough, he might even be open and willing to consider Connie’s shocking, but sensual suggestion. Warming Nikki up to the idea might prove a challenge though.

Connie had been about to speak, but the words died in her throat the moment he rose, shook off his leather jacket, and hung it on the coatrack on the back of the bench seat. Her mouth dropped in shock, but she quickly recovered. Taller than she’d first imagined, he stood at least a few inches over six feet. A skin-tight black T-shirt hugged his powerful physique. Tucked into a pair of incredibly tight blue jeans, it showcased his torso to sculpted excellence. Denim strained across rock-hard thighs, a muscular, ass and—her held breath whooshed out and ended in a moan—showed off an impressive package. Man-meat was sharpened into hardened precision, enough to rival the marble statues of Greek gods. Even better than she could’ve hoped for.

She had to get a closer look.

Excerpt:

The discordant note of a missed strike rose from the coffin, followed by a terse mutter. By the Maiden, was the princess cursing?

A sudden, terrible thought occurred. Was it the princess? Surely she wouldn’t curse as if she was a dockworker Maybe his source had lied about the gear worker being the lost princess. Maybe this wasn’t her at all, and he would spend another three months trying to find the erstwhile royal.

No. If it killed him, this would be her. He was not going to waste any more time on this.

So decided, he intoned, “Princess,” in the clear, strong voice he used to quell conversation.

The woman in the coffin—the princess, damn his eyes—started, and a loud clang split the air, immediately followed by one of those deliciously vulgar curses. Pulling out of the coffin, she glared at him.

His breath strangled in his throat. Heat stormed through him, his cock hardening in his too-thin breeches.

Thrice-damned god, but she was arresting.

Wild ebony hair escaped from the band holding it back while furious black eyes pilloried him, full lips pursed in displeasure. Her worker’s clothes revealed more of her form than they should, the homespun shirt opened to the middle of her breast bone. The undyed fabric seemed too rough for such fine skin, the dull off-white hue a contrast with her dusky flesh. The brown leather harness of her trade nipped in her waist and cupped her breasts, while trousers outlined full hips and long legs, the latter encased in knee-high boots of soft brown leather capped with steel.

Quite insanely, he wanted to taste the damp skin revealed by her shirt.

“What do you think you’re doing?” she demanded.

She had to be the princess. Only royalty could deal such a stare.

“Doing?” he said.

She folded her arms beneath her breasts. He tried not to notice how her action plumped her flesh deliciously through the leather. “Do not come into a workroom and startle a gear worker, especially if she’s wielding tools that could harm her, the object she works on, and your fat head once she recovers herself.”

“My apologies, Princess.” He offered his most charming smile and ignored how the darkening of her scowl made him harder. “I am the tailor, and I have been sent to fetch you home.”

A Class Act by Leigh Ellwood

So here I am, minding my own business and preparing another post for the TRS release party on one of the box sets, when I get word my latest Decadent Publishing story is out early! Wait, what? I have to promo that also? ACK!

Seriously, I’m thrilled. I had so much fun writing A CLASS ACT and I hope if you love M/M you’ll pick it up. Enjoy this preview.

Gay Erotic Romance
Class in Session, Book 2 (May be read standalone)

All Romance ~ Kindle ~ Kobo ~ NOOK ~ Decadent Publishing

Released November 7, 2014

Barry Kellam receives a mysterious invitation from 1Night Stand and can’t imagine who would arrange a night of sexual passion with him…except perhaps a former student who’s gone on to greater things.

Paul Merrill is the toast of Broadway. While the awards and fame are nice, he wants to  share his success—and his body—with the man who inspired him. But Dr. Kellam isn’t  one to date fellow faculty or alumni. Will he answer Madame Eve’s call?

Excerpt

The fleeting idea that Paul Merrill was somewhere else in Manhattan right now set a chill in his heart. Maybe some billionaire in disguise arranged this, like a super-rich parent he met at an open house who misinterpreted a handshake as a come-on. He shook away the ridiculous notion as the elevator floor vibrated. The ideas ballooned like fantastic movie plots, not unlike the one that would make Paul a household name.

At Room 2401, his hand trembled and it took three tries to get the green light. “Room” hardly described his quarters for the night. 1Night Stand appropriated them with a lavish suite with wide panel windows revealing Times Square in its explosive, mega-watt glory. The waving red lines of the story-high Coca-Cola ad mesmerized him, but only momentarily as he fought to keep his bearings. If his date was here, he was probably in another part of the suite.

The bedroom, no doubt. He swallowed back his nerves, inhaled, and stepped deeper into the living area. Large, suede sofas faced a wall-sized entertainment system. The wet bar looked better stocked than an actual restaurant. Barry’s mouth watered for a shot of vodka.

“Dr. Kellam!”

Barry’s heart jolted and his direction whipped to the left toward the approaching figure. “Paul, thank God it’s you.”

Be sure to pick up the first story, A DIFFERENT CLASS!

FDR High Class of 2004 graduate, Glenn Carson contacts fellow alumni to get a list of who will be attending the upcoming festivities. One call to a disgruntled former student leaves him shaken—apparently, not everyone is looking forward to the reunion. Hoping to ease his frustration, he contacts the 1Night Stand service for a relaxing and passionate encounter.
Known as “Mumbles” to former classmates, Rod Maloney would prefer to focus on the present and his successful business. However, past tragedies continue to haunt him, so he requests Madame Eve find him a man to show him a hot time and help him forget his troubles.
Will their one night together lead to a reunion after all?

My stories range from a few thousand words to well past 70k.
I have won awards for writing, and I have received 5-star reviews. I have also received 1-star reviews and people have looked at me funny at cons and events. I enjoy reading, yoga, and rock music. I liked the 9th Doctor best. I don’t wear dresses. I won’t cut my hair or color it. I will not limit myself to one genre when it comes to writing. I write contemporary, paranormal, gay, lesbian, menage, geek, short, long, purposely funny and hilariously sad. Two 5-star reviews for High-Risk Fever!

I can only be humbled at these words:

“If you enjoy erotica, this story is perfect. Anne is an unsatisfied wife until a very hot Italian shows up at her door, leaving her very hot and confused all at the same time. Lea Bronsen’s descriptions were vivid and intense. I enjoyed every page and hopefully she’ll read this review and get to work on the sequel.”

– Kishan Paul

“I’ll admit this story is a little different reading than I usually do, but loving to read Lea Bronsen’s other works, I jumped at the chance to read this one. Lea has a natural ability in going deep into her character psych. This story is no different when Anne takes a exciting, daring journey of self discovery.”

Excerpt:

“Straddle me, sugar,” he said in a sandpaper voice, all grit.

Willing to go where she knew she shouldn’t tread, she did what he asked, throwing one leg over his lap, knees sinking into the leather cushion on either side of his denim clad thighs. His hands went to her hips. Slid down farther, where he stopped. His fingertips touched her flesh. Using his thumbs, he stroked the front of her thighs, undoing her. Shivers traversed her arms and legs. Her sex pulsed.

He inched her skirt up, working until the fabric bunched around her waist. When cool air struck the back of her thighs, one side of his mouth quirked up. He appeared pleased with himself for exposing her panties.

“I’ll give you exactly what you crave,” he said and ripped the thong from her body.

Tiffany sucked in a breath. He threw the tattered silk to the floor with his right hand while flicking her clit ring with the forefinger of his left. “Nice adornment.” He tugged on her piercing, giving her the right amount of pressure. “But you need me to scratch your itch, don’t you, baby?”

She’d come too far to lie about what she needed now. Nodding, she whispered, “Harder.”

He chuckled, and the sound was a flashpoint of sensation added to the slow stroke of the fingers he’d slipped between her crease.

She leaned forward, hand resting on the top of the sofa by his head, and kissed him. While their tongues tangled, he rubbed her, his other hand going to her hair where he tugged the clip, releasing the long strands. They tumbled down her back in time with his palm curling around the base of her neck, claiming her.

Oh, she liked the way he took possession. Everything feminine inside her needed the pure maleness of him.

Tiffany nibbled at his bottom lip, pulling scant inches from his mouth. “You make me burn,” she admitted.

“The feeling is mutual,” he said and plunged a finger inside of her.

“Ahh, yeah,” she uttered her approval.

He shoved his finger deeper. “You’re so wet.”

“Yes.”

Her hand went to his bulging crotch. She squeezed him through his jeans. He groaned. With nimble fingers, she unbuttoned his fly, freeing his thick cock from the denim. When the heavy head rested in her palm, she smiled. He was fantastic, and she’d known from past experience he’d be commando.

Wrapping her fingers around the base of his superb erection, she began to pump him. “Good?”

“Hell, yes,” he said and fingered her in earnest, inserting another. His thumb pressed hard against her clitoris, sending heated spikes of sensation through her body.

She moaned, spreading the silken pre-cum leaking from him with her fingertip and licking her lips. Tiffany wanted to taste him. Put her lips over the crown. Skim her mouth along his shaft. Take him down the back of her throat. She swallowed, knowing the feeling when she took him inside her pussy would be even better. She needed to experience her sex stretched over the head of his dick again. The fiery invasion. The awareness of being totally filled when he pressed into her tight channel.

Her chest heaving, she mumbled, “Condom.”

“Sorry, sugar. We’ll have to settle for this,” he said. Declan removed his fingers from her body and tugged her hips down on him before he placed his steel between her

feminine folds. “Slide your sweetness along the length of my cock.”

Oh, God. She was so slick, she easily made the glide up and down, her chest rubbing against his.

In the next instant, he splayed his large hands across her ass, pulling her against him even tighter. This was good, sex without penetration, something she’d never done

before, and the delicious sensation had her nipples pebbled hard against the material of her bra, but when he flicked out his tongue, everything got better. She moaned and gave

him access to her neck, where he wasted no time and tickled the hollow of her throat before he nipped at the soft flesh with his teeth. She shivered.

“There you go.” The vibration of his deep voice sent a wave of pleasure across the canvas of her flesh. Every part of her body hungered for his touch. He slapped her ass.

She jumped and lost her rhythm—taken aback. “Faster,” he demanded, and she didn’t have time to consider if she liked the swat or not. He spanked her again. “Move your fine

ass.”

She complied, sliding herself up and down. He slapped her ass once more, but this time the sensation sent a buzz to her already-stimulated clit. The joy spreading across

her caught— a wildfire.

“Again,” she uttered in a breathy voice.

“Like that, do you?”

God help her, she did.

Wake Me by Alexa Bourne

Hi there! Thanks to Lea for inviting me over for the day. I decided today I’d share a bit of myself with you. So, I’ve interviewed myself. 🙂

Question: Who’s your celebrity crush and why?
Alexa: I have 3. Matt Damon because he’s a great actor & seems to be a genuinely nice guy. Brad Pitt because I’ve been watching him for almost 25 years. At first I loved him because he was hot. Then I liked the movies he chose to work in. Now he’s just been “a part of my life” for so long I can’t imagine not loving him! Chris Hemsworth. I LOVED the 1st Thor movie, the character as well as the actor. But I admit I’m shallow about this one. He’s just hot!

Question: What drew you to write in the genre(s) you do?
Alexa: I remember watching The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman as a child. Those stories and characters really interested me. Then the only Disney movie I remember from my childhood was The Rescuers. As I grew up, more suspense-type shows, movies and books continued to intrigue me. By the time I started writing it was only natural.

Question: What has been your most rewarding publishing moment?
Alexa: I have to say I was at a local writers’ group and one of our newer members crossed the dining room to tell me how much she loved my book Dance Away, Danger. It made my night.

Question: What are the next five books on your ‘to be read’ pile?
Alexa: Far Gone by Laura Griffin, To Scotland with Love by Patience Griffin, Perfect Summer by Katie Graykowski, Intimate Enemies by Joan Swan.

Question: What would you say is your most interesting quirk?
Alexa: I eat all of one thing off my plate at a time. So if I have meat, veggies and potatoes, I eat the veggies 1st, then the meat, then the potatoes. I also save my favorite part of the meal for last.

Question: Which of your characters would you most/least to invite to dinner, and why?
Alexa: I would actually love to have Travis Blake, a secondary character in WAKE ME, to dinner. He’s a sweetheart of a guy, Sarah’s best friend. But underneath that good boy attitude and behavior, I just know Travis has some dark secrets. I know he’ll eventually get his own book and I do know a little about the part he plays in the Hidden Destiny series, but he hasn’t started talking to me yet. I guess he doesn’t trust me yet.

Alexa is giving THREE prizes throughout her Wake Me Blog Tour!

Want to find out more about Wake Me?

WakeMe_AlexaBourne_300x450

Blurb:

Her psychic dreams come true.

Sarah McKinley’s attempts to take her foreknowledge of crimes to the Seattle Police Department marked her as a troublemaker and were never taken seriously. Starting over in Austin, she plans never to reveal her gift, but shortly after she arrives, the dreams begin again, and the local police want to know why she has knowledge only the killer could possess.

Detective Jesse Cordell watched his mother con people with her “psychic ability” all through his childhood. He hones in on Sarah, who has means, motive, and opportunity to have murdered the victim in his current investigation. Instinct tells him she didn’t commit the crime, but she definitely knows more than she’s letting on.

Can he put aside his doubts and join forces with her, against everything he believes in, to find the real killer? Or will he do his job and put her behind bars? After all, there’s no such thing as the “psychic ability.” Or is there?

Excerpt:

The buzz around her head grew louder as more students joined the crowd. Yellow tape secured the crime scene several yards away, but limbs still stuck over the cement edge of the water fountain.

A guy in plain clothes ducked under the tape and ventured toward them. A gold shield hung from his belt. “Can anybody tell me what happened?”

“She can!” a male voice from behind called out.

Hoping to take attention off herself, Sarah joined the other students in whirling around to see who the guy meant. Several voices rushed toward the man, accosting him with different versions of the crime. Sarah floated through the sea of people, away from the crowd.

For the nine months, she’d lived in Austin, she’d never mentioned a word about her so-called psychic gift. Almost a full year had passed. She’d started to think she would be normal again.

But a brand-new dream reminded her she would always be different.

Heading toward the street, she picked up her steps. Don’t look back. You’ve done enough damage.

“Miss! Hey, wait up!”

“Damn.” She slowed her feet. No point in trying to run. She’d look guilty of something then the cops would have a reason to haul her off the school campus in cuffs.

Turning, she came face-to-face with the striking plain-clothes cop. “I’m Detective Cordell with Austin Police.” He stood at least six inches taller than she, his jet-black hair sheared in a standard cut for police. The bulk of his chest stretched the material of his short-sleeved dress shirt. With dark eyes and sexy confidence, he was all sorts of captivating. If he hadn’t been such a threat to her freedom, she might even have called him handsome. “Do you have a minute? I’d like to ask you some questions.”

There died his charm.

Excerpt:

Gomez’s manners thus far had been impeccable, but Leo could draw a straight line from the man’s eyeballs to Catwoman’s chest. To be fair, those were some gorgeous breasts—either that or the woman wore a killer push-up bra. High, pert, and full, they combined with lush wide hips to form a perfect hourglass shape. In those heels, her legs seemed to go on for miles.

Distracted by the lithe yet voluptuous body, it took him a moment before he could focus on her face. She had straight, silky black hair, cut at the chin to form a short bob. Her dark leather mask started halfway down her forehead and ended under her cheekbone, lending her heart-shaped face a mysterious and sexy air. Plum red lipstick accentuated a pair of pouting lips, which were perfectly situated between a small button nose and sharp pointed chin.

He had to agree with Jack. Catwoman was smoking.

The maître d’ led her into the lounge’s interior. As she walked closer, her spicy perfume blended with the scent of fresh tobacco, the intoxicating combination interfering with his ability to focus. Spotting him, she stopped in her tracks.

Her emerald-green eyes went wide. Then she swept him from head to toe with her gaze. The direct scrutiny triggered a sudden tightness in his pants. An electric sizzle spread over his skin and made his fingertips tingle.

A collective gasp distracted him from the odd physiological reaction. Thecandle on his table now blazed blue instead of orange, the flame growing to twice its original size. He snuck a peek at the other tables, all of which seemed to be experiencing the same fiery effect.

The lounge must have invested in some fancy pyrotechnic candles in honor of Halloween.

While the warm spray fell on her, he came up behind her, his male form tight against her. She gave a shaky sigh, longing rising within her again. He pressed his erection against her backside cheeks and eased in between them. She liked the sensation of pressure against her butt, teasing her crack. Was she ready to explore this?

“Tell me if you wish for me to stop.”

“Okay.”

He kissed the back of her neck, the roughness of his slight stubble sending shivers down her spine. She arched her neck, and his cock hardened, entering her crack, enticing her. She twisted under his touch, the water making them slick and smooth against each other. Their bodies writhed together, and she spun around for him to put his dick into her. Her wet breasts rubbed his chest. He gave her a tentative kiss, tasting her mouth with his tongue. Fire shot into her belly as their tongues connected, but he didn’t thrust into her yet. As he slicked his torso against her nipples roughly, tingles of pleasure made delirium take over. Every part of her sexuality thrilled.

“Wait.” He stepped out of the shower, dripping wet puddles on a path to the room. He came back with another condom.

Her body was impatient. How could she wait? He came back to her and picked up where he left off, this time bringing his cock towards her. She had to stand on her tiptoes to take him inside her. With the moisture of the shower, he sank in with ease, the angle sending shards of pleasure through her core. He thrust gently at first, then more fervently. She could do nothing but groan as she climaxed, the sound of Kirk’s moans matching hers, his body thrashing against hers.

Exhausted, she soaped herself with her back to him, unable to face Kirk yet. She felt almost embarrassed at the way her wanton behavior took over.

Would he know how long she had wanted this? How she wished she had given them more of a chance? Or how much she still needed him? Could he know she’d dreamed about him at night in her sleep? Upon waking up, she’d regarded those dreams as crazy remnants of a disturbed marriage.

He picked up a facecloth and foamed it with soap. He rubbed it down her back, arms, legs, and derriere, all the while touching her gently with his body. Oh, how good his touch felt. Why couldn’t he have done this before, when she really needed it? The intimacy brought tears to her eyes, clogging her throat.

His reached his soaped hands around and cupped her breasts. She sighed with contentment. She’d needed his touch, his hands upon her in a perfect combination of firmness and gentleness. He showed no impatience or roughness except at their height of passion. Instead giving off all warmth and fire and sweet pleasure.

Was it the wretched wedding ring that had wrung out all the passion? Or had she changed? And he? There were no solid answers. She’d promised herself there wouldn’t be any emotional attachment. She had to leave before she wanted to stay the whole night. Without giving away her sudden panic, she stood under the spray to rinse, stepped out, grabbed a towel, and dried herself. While he soaped himself, she dressed and sat on the couch to wait for him, rubbing her hair with her fingertips to take out the intense moisture. Panic rose in her throat.

“Hi.” He came to the room, his hair glistening, his face relaxed, and a shy grin on his face.

A twinge of nausea ran through her. What had she just done? She’d made love to Kirk, her ex-husband, twice in one night, and had intimate contact in the shower. She’d bared a very personal need and part of her soul to the man she’d grown to hate years ago. He would expect more. His tenderness a few minutes ago had indicated that. She wasn’t ready for more. She’d already given him a part of her heart again. A part he could wring into a hurtful ball.

Excerpts

1Night Stand bundle 400x600

Excerpt from Beneath the Starry Sky – M/F Contemporary Erotic Romance

She’d held onto so much hope for this date, and nothing had gone right. She still didn’t know who this guy was. Yet, he’d already rejected her with his expression. This is the last date Im going on, unless Im lucky enough for my hair to grow back.

His gaze never left her, making her even more humiliated. “You’re….”

“What? Ugly? Bald?”

He shook his head. “No, I was going to say my date. I’ve been so busy lately and Madame Evangeline had to send me a reminder.”

She paused at the Frenchwoman’s name. Could this hunk of a man really be her date? Didn’t matter. He wouldn’t want her now. “Well, surprise! I’m damaged goods, so you might as well leave and ask her for a refund.”

As she slumped to the floor, more tears streamed down her face. Why is life so unfair? She’d worked hard all of her life, never taking shortcuts or the easy way out. Not an outcast or popular, she’d been friends with everyone in school and college. And healthy. She’d taken extra care to eat properly in order to avoid being diagnosed with diabetes, like her parents.

Since that fateful day when she’d discovered her two, oval-shaped bald patches, she’d been dumped by her fiancé and lost all of her hair, along with any chance to find love and have a family vanishing. Kids were out of the question. Sure, their chances of inheriting alopecia were unlikely, but on the chance they did, they’d hate her for passing her faulty genetics on to them. She couldn’t live with that. She’d be alone. Forever.

Her intensity excited him, but he needed to find a way to keep her calm. She refused to look into his eyes. His mouth crashed down on hers, absorbing her next words. She objected at first, but then her tongue reached out to him, a passionate gesture unheard of on Ginnun.

He matched the force of her kiss and skimmed his hands down her arms to rest on her sides near her breasts. She no longer struggled. Her arms wrapped around him, keeping him close. When she released his mouth to take a breath, he sat up. She panted underneath him.

“That was incredible. I….I felt like I was flying through space. So many colors and the brightest stars.”

He experienced something different. With that kiss, he had finally found someone who could keep him grounded on Earth and repress any regret for not returning to Ginnun. He brushed his thumb along her cheekbone. “I’d like to continue if you’ll let me.” He leaned down and placed light kisses across her face.

A sigh escaped her lips and the last of her tight muscles relaxed underneath him. He slid his body down her legs, his hands returning to her belly.

“I thought you were going to continue something else,” she whispered.

His cock pressed against his pants already. Her sudden interest in sex made it painful. “I want to, but I need to finish giving you this gift.”

Her body moved but she didn’t struggle or try to get away. “What exactly are you doing to me? What is this gift? Why was my stomach glowing?”

He took in a deep breath and released it a little faster and louder than he’d wanted. He knew the answer would lead to more questions. While prepared to answer them, he didn’t want to scare her away. His response required carefully chosen words to ensure he gave her the gift before he told her of his origins.

“I’m healing you.” The blue glow returned across her belly as his hands warmed. “You’ll be able to have a child when I am finished.”

Her eyes widened. He sensed her fear, but she didn’t move. “Your child?”

“No, I am not giving you a child. That can only be done in the usual ways. I am simply making your body able to become pregnant and carry a child.”

Carrie propped herself up on her elbows. Her eyes stared down at her belly, but she remained calm. “How? No doctor could do that for me. How can you? Are you some type of voodoo priest or something?”

“No.” He needed to continue and keep his heritage from her for as long as possible.

“A religious fanatic who thinks I’m possessed by demons?”

Frey laughed. “Nope.” He was almost finished. Just a little longer. The scarring had all returned to normal, healthy tissue. He only needed to stimulate the maturation and release of eggs in her ovaries.

“How then? I know you’re doing something to me. I can feel it.”

“Remember how I said I needed an open-minded partner?”

She nodded, her eyes catching a quick glance from his before returning to her stomach.

Just a couple more minutes and he’d be finished. He prepared to hold her down should she freak out when he told her he came from space. “I’m not exactly like you and most of the people on Earth. I’m….different.”

“Like a demon or a guardian angel?”

He laughed. It sounded forced, but he needed to stay focused on healing Carrie rather than mating with her. “No, you’re thinking paranormal. Try science fiction.”

She began to squirm under him, but he didn’t need to restrain her. “A….clone? Artificial intelligence?”

He finished healing her and lay down beside her. His thumb ran across her lips, wanting to taste them again, but knowing he probably wouldn’t. “Try alien.”

Excerpt from Unknown Futures – F/F Science Fiction Erotic Romance

“Let’s hit the dance floor.” The drinks could wait. She wouldn’t let her guest out of her sight again.

The music thrummed, filling her to the core, preventing her from standing still. She found a spot with just enough room for the two of them. No one else mattered. With each hit of the bass, she moved her feet, her hips, her hands. She let the beat control her body and her heart.

Although others might be watching, her attention remained on Jewel. Each movement, a planned seduction. She couldn’t let her go without trying. When the next song began, Jewel finally relaxed. She moved to the music.

And V moved closer. She slid her hand from Jewel’s waist, down, then back up, swaying in front of her. Only an inch between them. She couldn’t get enough. Her Earth scent became intoxicating.

Beat after beat, song after song, she kept her hands on the sexy woman. She claimed her, telling everyone else to stay away. She wanted to savor her precious body. Maybe she could make her forget about her date.

She pulled Jewel even closer, her sensitive nipples pressed against the woman she desired. Holding her with both hands, grinding against her to the music. Her heart raced with hunger. I want to take her on the floor. Right here. Right now.

But the song changed. The beat slowed, indicating last call. The club would close soon.

Most of the patrons had left. Only those hoping to hook up remained. She stepped back. Jewel would have to make the first move. V could never force herself on anyone.

When Jewel took her hands and placed them back on her body, she couldn’t help but smile. Perhaps the evening would end the way she wanted.

Jewel pressed against her, her head resting on her shoulder, swaying to the decelerated beat. “I don’t want this night to end.”

Their dancing became deliberate, a sensuous and intimate rhythm. “It doesn’t have to.”

Jewel stopped and looked up at her. “You…you’re interested?”

“Why wouldn’t I be? You’re the most beautiful creature in the space station.”

Somehow, she had to make her see. She brushed her thumb across her lips, wanting to touch more, her entire luscious body. Taking a deep breath, V steadied herself. If this were to go any further, Jewel needed to show her own intentions. As warm moisture pooled between her thighs, V schooled herself to patience.

“Are you sure youre not my date?”

Shit! That damn date, the only wedge between them. “No, but I wish I was.”

“I wish you were, too.” Jewel stood on the tips of her toes and claimed her mouth.

V pulled her closer until the bit of space between them had been filled. Excited by the warm, curvaceous body pressed against her taut nipples, she fed from the sweetness of Jewel’s mouth, drawing out each delicious sweep. But she wanted more. She wanted all of her.

Excerpt from Satin Sheets in Space – M/F/M Science Fiction Erotic Romance

She had her eyes closed, her lips pressed against his, when the sensation started. First, a tingling in her hands and feet, as he swept his digits deep inside her. The buzz spread up her arms and legs until it engulfed her entire body. She no longer sensed the ground below her.

The man continued to drive his fingers into her core with vigor, ridding her of the urge to pull away and find out what was happening to her. She landed with a thud, feeling returning to her limbs. Nothing stopped the man who held her, though. He continued to ravage her mouth, her jaw, her neck, keeping her pressed against the wall.

But something felt different. Gone was the hard brick pressing through her corset and against her skin. She reached behind to brush her hand along the surface. Soft. Almost like cushioned satin.

With a whimper, she pushed the strange man away. Where was she? What had she been thinking? This is the stupidest, most insane thing I’ve ever done.

The Prince Charming she’d had the fortune of being set up with peered down at her, his gaze intense and filled with lust. “My name is Galan, and we’re in my spaceship.”

At least she now knew his name, but wait…. Spaceship? She stared at the man, disillusioned. She could think of no other explanation for how they had traveled to a new location with the press of a button. Oh God, she’d been abducted by an alien. How would she get out of this situation? The first time she’d done something spur-of-the-moment, and she’d ended up being finger-fucked by an extraterrestrial.

Or was this some kind of elaborate stunt Josh had pulled off? But why? He was on his honeymoon, unable to enjoy his handiwork. Her body grew numb; a loud ringing pierced her eardrums. She could no longer think with the clouds invading her mind. Then she blacked out.

Excerpt from Sudden Breakaway – M/F Interracial Military Science Fiction Erotic Romance

Jared shucked his towel and stroked his rigid cock. That woman made him hard every time she came to the door, trying to persuade him to sign up for the Space Service. Her claims had seemed far-fetched when she’d first approached him, yet his commander had confirmed her credentials, having been approached to join by another many years ago. While Jared would never add his thumbprint to the contract he’d read, he wouldn’t mind if she stopped by to try and convince him again.

Ms. Brown, with her black blazer revealing a hint of cleavage and a skirt that showed the perfect curvature of her ass. When he’d answered the door fresh out of the shower and seen her on his porch, he’d gripped the door handle to hold himself back from yanking her inside and tearing off her fine-pressed suit.

He squeezed his balls; no time to jack-off. Dylan and Madison would arrive in an hour, and he had to take one last run through his house to get rid of any lingering dust bunnies before Children’s Services appeared. No obvious dirt in the living room, he headed toward the kitchen, but his mind kept flying back to Ms. Brown.

She had the whole librarian thing going on, with her dark hair tied up in a bun and glasses resting on the end of her nose. Though, none of the women who worked at the local branch made his cock throb. Perhaps there was some truth to the naughty librarian tale. He wished.

Most women’s version of naughty did not come close to his. While the whole BDSM club scene didn’t appeal to him, he enjoyed a little bondage during foreplay. He’d spent months at a time deployed in the Middle East. While home, he appreciated the opportunity to date the pretty women who found a guy in uniform sexy. But once he fetched the cuffs, they bolted. They hadn’t even wanted to use them on him.

Brown was no girl, though. No more than a couple years his senior, she exuded experience with her seductive glances, her posture that plunged her cleavage into his line of sight, and that damn wiggle of her ass as she sashayed back to her car. She could teach him a thing or two. He yearned for the chance to find out.

No, his next lay could no longer be at the forefront of his mind. In less than an hour, he would become the father-figure to two impressionable young children. His sexual urges would have to take leave for the foreseeable future.

He’d been in his last month of deployment to Afghanistan when the call came in. And it took another day for his commander to reach him with the news. His brother-in-law had been killed in a car accident, leaving his niece and nephew orphans. And as much as he loved the Marine Corps—Semper Fi—he couldn’t let the kids be raised by strangers. They had no other family left.

So, after he returned to the States, he contacted his lawyer and spent a couple of weeks obtaining guardianship of the children. He’d received his discharge papers, found a civilian position working as a desk jockey for the CIA through his contacts with the Marines, and bought a house suitable to raise two growing youngsters. After months of preparation, they were coming to live with him.

He glanced at his watch. Ten minutes until they arrived.

Shit! He’d wasted precious time thinking about Ms. Brown and his new life.

Grabbing a pair of jeans and a T-shirt, he yanked them on. Screw the boxers; his niece and nephew wouldn’t notice. He peeked into their rooms to ensure they looked somewhat presentable. Would Children’s Services take them back to California if his new living space didn’t meet their standards?

He groaned. They weren’t even at his house yet, and he’d been distracted. No more. Nothing would come before them. The children would be his priority. Everything he did would be for them, for the rest of his life.

Excerpt

He splayed his hand over the back of her head. She parted her lips to ask him where this would lead. But before she could make a sound, his mouth closed over hers.

She couldn’t remember the last time she’d been kissed. Even if she did, his mastery would have turned the memory to cinder. She faced a man, not a young boy experimenting with teeth and tongue. Instead of the comfortable joining of lips between two people more friends than lovers, he drowned her in a tangle of silk and steel.

His tongue delved. She closed her fingers over his broad shoulders before trailing them down his triceps. One of his hands cradled her nape as the other spanned her back. The contact melted her muscles. With his arms snaked around her body, she felt captive even though she sat on top.

She should be in charge. She should be taking the lead. Instead, his mouth set the rhythm and pace, guiding her through the sensual dance she only now realized she had barely known.

She reminded herself this was just a kiss—a single, sumptuous, seemingly endless kiss that threatened to turn her brain to mush.
